Woodview Community Association is a relatively small Registered Charity that mainly serves the residents of a deprived part of Edgbaston in Birmingham. The Association was established in 1977 and we are managed by a democratically elected committee. We operate from modern premises in the heart of the community that we rent from the City Council. We offer a number of ‘front-line’ community services including a lunch club for senior citizens and a range of adult and further education opportunities in partnership with local colleges. Our premises offer free access to computers and the Internet. We have a large hall for meetings and various types of recreation activities. Woodview Community Association also has a popular Youth Club. In addition we offer local residents advice on housing, education, health and welfare benefits
